Consequence of Sound

These illustrations contain original artwork published from 2011 to 2015 on Consequence of Sound, an independently-owned online music publication, now known as Consequence as of 2021 As assistant art director during this period, tasks included: photo illustrations for interviews and hand-illustrated art for articles, essays. I was initially hired in 2011 under a two-year internship.

Early art work for the first cover stories Consequence of Sound published included photo illustrations, illustrated frames for pull quotes, and light animation for the homepage banner. Each animation was hand-illustrated frame-by-frame, prior to automation. Example below for the band WAVVES.
